Harbour Town

After not going to harbour town in over a year, this week I managed two trips! The first with Lulu, Little Miss Sunshine and Mike; who met us for lunch (and to monitor my spending, hehe) and the next for lunch and a little more shopping with my Mum and Ezra.

While there I discovered Cotton On Kids. Now those that know me know that I am a huge Pumpkin Patch fan. Most of my girl’s wardrobe comes from there. But oh how I fell in love with the little birdies, the owls and the babushka’s that theme a lot of Cotton On Kids’ clothing. This store has some really cute clothes! I bought Little Miss Rach a collection of things including some black ballet shoes which I have seriously been searching for the entire winter, a coat jacket and 2 cute tutu skirts - she was overjoyed!

I also, for the first time in ages spent some money on myself! I picked up 4 jumpers (worth $230) from Just Jeans for $40! Bargain! I took Mum back there the second trip and she pick up a couple too.

I just love a good shopping trip – or two!

Bedtime Stories

We have been very spoilt this week having our families in Perth for the school holidays.

Uncle Ezra has been staying with us and Rachael and Isabelle have thoroughly enjoyed having an extra play mate and having such a willing uncle to read them many stories at bedtime. Thanks Ez, it’s been a joy to have you for the week.

On a side note – how cute are my girl’s hands? I love it when their little hands find each other during story time, melts my heart.

Vertical

Belle has conquered the stand! After a few wobbly attempts, our little one now is found more often in the vertical position – and doesn’t she look pleased with herself?! Note also all those little teeth! 3 more have surfaced this week. Well done Belle Belle; Mummy, Daddy and Rach are all so proud of you!

Wonderful Weekend

Take out Friday, Roman’s 1st birthday party, visiting my friend Kathryn and her beautiful new baby; Sophie Lily, dinner with family, wine and cards, church, a play in the park, long late lunch at Basement on Broadway....what a wonderful weekend we have had!

Standing!

Well kind of anyway!

Belle has been pulling up to her knees for some time now, but still hasn’t pulled to her feet. Recently though we discovered if we place her in the standing up position she’ll remain for quite some time – and she loves it! She gets quite cross when her little legs and feet give way.

She such a determined little girl, I am sure she’ll be going it by herself in no time – if only those little feet would grow – she is still wearing size 1 shoes! Mustn’t be easy to balance on such small planks! :)

Surprise Visit

On Saturday we received a surprise visit from Michael’s family from Katanning. Rachael and Isabelle took great delight in being the center of attention, getting lots of cuddles, having puzzle time with Grandma and of course running around after Uncle Jordy. Thanks for your quick trip; we loved catching up with you guys!
